Alice-Marie Archer

Alice-Marie is Operations Director of the Schumacher Institute. She undertakes the daily coordination of CONVERGE with Ian Roderick. Her research focus at the Institute is on systems-sciences for sustainability including how the web's collaborative potential can be harnessed strategically and practically towards sustainability (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1877042810011286). Alice-Marie uses her skills in facilitating collaborative innovation to support the coordination of CONVERGE as well as contributing research to the various work packages.

Alice-Marie has a BSc in Environmental Geosciences from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Technical University in Sweden. Her Graduate training was with URS Corp as assistant Environmental Scientist. Somewhere in between all this she was owner of a small eco-patisserie & chocolaterie 'Au pays des Merveilles'. In Bristol Alice-Marie participates with local eco-groups and blogs on eco-living.
